gTalk^® SMS service allows a gTalk customer to send SMS i.e. text message to some international destinations at very low cost.

gTalk^® charges a fraction of what the mainstream telecom companies charges for sending SMS. gTalk SMS rates are available in your gTalk web portal. You will see the list of destination countries and SMS rates where you can send SMS through the gTalk system.

gTalk^® customers may send SMS to listed countries through (a) using gTalk Hotdial App or (b) through web portal. If you are yet to download gTalk Hotdial App please do so by following procedures explained in the FAQ item How to Download and Setup gTalk Hot Dial App.

Passing of caller ID of the sender of SMS depends on the destination operator's. While most of the operators do pass caller ID, a few may not.

gTalk^® system stores SMS text in encrypted form only to make those available for individual customers own SMS log. No one other that the gTalk account holder him/herself has access to their SMS log. Customers may view their SMS log through their secure gTalk web portal.

Customers may see the List of SMS Enabled Countries and corresponding rates on their web portal. gTalk is making every effort to add new destination countries to the list.

gTalk^® SMS service allows sending of SMS to only List of SMS Enabled Countries available in the customer web portal. Customers may also call gTalk 24/7 customer care at 214-593-1004 to get information on the matter.

Recipients of gTalk^® SMS may reply to the originator without entering the sender's mobile number if the originator's caller ID is passed and the recipient phone is SMS enabled. gTalk SMS service is responsible to only send SMS.
